Luciano Podcaminsky was born in Buenos Aires. His advertising career began as a copywriter for various agencies including Leo Burnett Argentina.
He later attended London’s St. Martins’ College of Art to study drawing and painting as well as the Lux Centre of the London Filmmakers Corporation where he focused on Acting Performance. The Gunn Report ranks Luciano 14th among the world’s most prize-winning directors.
