Gustav started his directing career around 15 years ago in Sweden, making his own edits on his father’s 2-channel VHS- editor. He invented his own groundbreaking style by cutting Disney movies together with Hockey games and turning them into movie trailers. This revolutionary way of handling moving image and visual storytelling attracted interest and all of a sudden Uppsala seemed a bit too small for Gustav.
His work has earned him several awards: 1st prize at the Cannes Young Directors Awards, Winner of the Cannes Future Lions, named “Young Gun Of the month”, Gold at the One Show and a Gold at the Clios.
